VIBE Magazine Sold To SpinMedia; May Only Be Available Online

Urban and pop culture media giant Vibe bought by SpinMedia

As of today, Vibe Magazine has been taken over by SpinMedia and it is very possible that the issue on newsstands now may be their last.
The media company formerly known as Buzz Media have acquired several music and pop culture publications, including Spin Magazine, the print edition of Vibe magazine as well as its sites, Vibe.com and VibeVixen.com.
After SpinMedia bought Spin Magazine last year, the print edition was indefinitely discontinued, leaving only the website. It appears as if Vibe is dancing to the same song.
Vibe was started by music mogul Quincy Jones in 1992 as a way to showcase urban music and culture on an international platform.
