SOURCE SPORTS: Ex-UFC Fighter Desmond Green Jailed For Violating Release

Desmond Green can’t catch a break, recently.

The mixed martial arts fighter was jailed after violating the terms of his release. Green, 30, is currently charged with 21 criminal counts last June for a five-car collision that killed two people in Broward County, Fl August 2018.

Desmond Green was arrested yesterday. Public records show that Green allegedly violated terms of his parole and is accused of felony driving without a license in Broward County (third or subsequent offence).

Green was caught driving while his license was suspended and even was captured on a red light camera. Driving violated his pre-trial release and he was booked with a revocation of his bond.

The charges against the Rochester, NY native are lengthy. They include two counts of DUI Manslaughter (Unlawful Blood Alcohol Level). Four counts of DUI Serious Bodily Injury. Five counts of DUI Property Damage and single counts of Possession of Cocaine, Felony Driving While License Suspended, Fail Wear Safety Belt/Operator and Careless Driving.

Green has pled not guilty to all charges, however, he was released by the UFC after the incident.
