Staying true to his message of support for the community, Colin Kapernick did not disappoint this weekend.

The former 49ers Quarterback ditched watching his former team lose to the Kansas City Chiefs. He opted instead to be drenched in Black culture and serve those in need.

According to TMZ, Kaepernick went to the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture in Harlem on Sunday. He then journeyed to the SCO Family Shelter in Jamaica, Queens. There he linked with Carolina Panthers Safety Eric Reid and 100 Suits for 100 Men.

The organization is a non-profit dedicated to helping underprivileged men and women get business attire for job interviews.

Later, Kapernick served meals at Shelter with volunteers from the LES Girls Club and his Know Your Rights Camp.

While many celebrated the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl win over the San Francisco 49ers, Kaepernick stayed true to his mission of community advancement.
