He could talk the talk but couldn’t walk the walk
Last night Jon ‘Bones’ Jones took on Chael Sonnen in a defense of the UFC light heavyweight championship belt. Sonnen was baiting and badgering Jones with comments all up until the beginning of the fight.
The fight itself was over fairly quickly as Jon Jones ended the fight with a TKO on Sonnen. Jones dominated Sonnen at his own game by taking him down numerous times than unloading elbows. The fight ended after 4 minutes and 33 seconds in to the first round.
After the fight Jones had discovered that during his bout with Sonnen he had suffered a broken toe.
This was Jones’ fifth consecutive title defense which ties the record for most title defenses in the UFC light heavyweight division.
