Exclusive: T-Pain Goes Country. Talks Upcoming Collaborations with Luke Bryan & Taylor Swift
Cue Salt-N-Pepa’s “Ain’t Nuthin’ But a She Thang” for this Cinderella story. A few weeks back in April, rising college basketball star, Brittney Griner was chosen as the first WNBA draft pick by the Phoenix Mercury (already an awesome accomplishment), and today she announced on her official Twitter page that’s she’s also going to be one of Nike’s newest spokesmodel.
As told to USA Today, Laurel Richie, a WNBA comissioner, predicted that along with fellow women’s b-ball talents, No. 2 draft pick Elena Delle Donne and No. 3 Skylar Diggins (who just signed to Jay-Z’s Roc Nation sports division), this triumvirate of superstars are destined to “change the landscape of the league” for the WNBA. Griner currently holds being the 2nd best highest scorer in the NCAA as well.
