Show me the money
Move over Joe Flacco because the man in Green Bay has just become the highest paid player in NFL history. Rodgers and the Packers have come to terms on a 5-year $110 million deal, this passes Flacco’s 6-year $120.6 million deal.
The new deal locks Rodgers up for an extra five years on top of the two that are already on his current contract. Here is the insane part, Rodgers is set to make $40 million in the first year than an average of $22 million every year after, wow.
Green Bay Pack tight end Jermichael Finley has already addressed Rodgers insane deal by jokingly saying on his twitter that “Every dinner on u sir!.”
